It is possible to get walk in care and it will probably be a significant part of the healthcare system in the future. Walk in care used to be something to which most people did not give very much thought. You could see your doctor or go to the emergency room.

But people are beginning to see why emergency room alternatives make sense. Typically, a visit to the emergency room will cost around 1500 USD while a visit to the urgent care center will cost around 150 USD. Admittedly, some of this disparity is because emergency rooms are treating conditions that urgent care clinics in oceanside and other parts of the country are unable to treat. They have difficulty curing gunshot wounds, for instance.
